This used to be a post about Adobe CS3. That was stupid.
I had this thought that was too good, but for some reason I forgot it. This happened a few weeks ago. For reasons I shall not explain*, It has come back to me. Because it has come back to me, I will share it quickly before it leaves again.
The thought it a simple one, but it strikes up all to much passion within me when I think on it. That is, If you have a job and you are in High School you don’t have alot of room to complain. I have some friends who perform great in school. They could handle the responsibility and when they wanted some money, they got a job. Balancing the two was their problem & their responsibility. I can understand that. I respect that. What I don’t respect is the people who cannot balance school and work. There are kids in my class that are constantly complaining of how they are overworked with an excessive amount of hours. These same kids complain that they can’t complete all their homework because they have work. They complain that they don’t have any free time to relax.
Whos fault is it that you have a job?
When these people try and get less homework because they have work later, it irritates me. I’m not sure why, but the feeling is there. The feeling is doubled* when I try and explain the lunacy of their logic (or the lack there of).
I for one believe in not working during High School. I find even with six spare hours in the day, its still hard for me to get my homework done.*** These are the best times of your life. Four years where you need to grow as much as you can before whatever comes next. (now that I think about that, screw it. You can learn after High School. Nothing changes, but the rules.) But these are the best years of your life, none the less. And you shouldn’t waste them at a stupid job. I have a few friends who understand this logic, and a few who are just lazy. But, I respect them more than those who have jobs.**** I should end before this gets dumber, and I regret even more of what I am writing.*****
