No, I’m not talking about those silly little commercials which I believe hurt macs overall popularity. I’m talking about the systems, hardware and software, and how they compare overall.*
First Is the Hardware,as long as I have known about mac, I have known that they are overpriced. Apple is just now catching up to PC’s when it comes to speed, but It costs more. This is where some people would push the idea that apple makes products right and their customer service is great. From what I have seen and the websites I have been too, this is kind of true. Their products seem like they used to be above average, but lately they seem to be of a little lower quality. iTunes was great up until version 7.0.0. The first run of the macbook was riddled with flaws, and apple refused to acknowledge that for quite a while. There are a few more examples but I think you understand. Apple has less of a track record so they looked better too.
On to software,
Apple definitly has an edge here, Their latest os is twice as good as Vista is going to be, and their will be a new mac os before vista has enough updates to work right.
